The latest news regarding the 2011 Audi Q7 is that it will look very similar to the current model but there will be a bit of change under the hood. There will be a choice of two different engines,one will be the Audi s4's 3 litre TFSI V6, the entry engine will product 272 hp with 295 NM of torque and the top end engine producing 333hp and 325 NM of torque. The other will be a 3 litre TDI, which produces 240 hp and 406 NM of torque.
The new diesel engine is capable of doing 0-60 in under 8 seconds and the fuel economy has been slightly improved.
The 6 speed gearbox is replaced with a new 8 speed automatic gearbox with a higer ratio of Tiptronic actuation and Drive and Sport modes.
