The 2011 Kia Sportage has been completely redesigned, angular, with an aggressive appearance all changes lead by former Audi designer Peter Schreyer. It is longer, wider and lower than the previous year model; new engines that consume less fuel and emit less Co2 are sure to please today’s buyers. It is available with 4 engines, the 1.6lt with an OTR price of £16,645 and 1.7lt turbo diesel starting at £18,145 OTR. Following the usual trim levels, ‘2’ starts at £20,020 OTR and ‘3’ starts at £21,595 OTR. 2.0 t AWD models start at an OTR price of £20,800 with a top of the range 2.0 CRDi KX-3 Sat Nav AWD Automatic with an OTR price of £26,170. It comes with a KIA’s 7 year warranty. All models are available with a manual or automatic 6-speed transmission, except the 2.0lt petrol engine is available with the 5–speed manual transmission instead. 

Options available are a fully integrated satellite navigation system, featuring a 7” full-map colour touchscreen integrated seamlessly into the central dash console providing access to a large selection of UK and European maps and Points-of-Interest. Inside the quality of materials has improved dramatically from the Kia's of old. The seats are comfortable on long distance journeys, the controls for the stereo and dual zone climate control are easy to operate and the dash layout's fresh and clean. The First Edition comes with aux-in, iPod, and USB slot for other MP3 players and there's built-in Bluetooth for hands free calling with voice command system. There's also a backup camera with a built in screen to the rear-view mirror that works wonderfully.

2011 Kia Sorento

For 2011 the new Kia Sorento-R has been redesigned, its new looks; thanks to former Audi designer Peter Schreyer; give it a more modern and aggressive appearance. It is larger and 200kg lighter, replacing the old ladder chassis and becoming a crossover vehicle. The R designation is for the new R-series diesel engine it comes equipped with. These changes include a more spacious cabin with a 3rd bench seat option available. The new 2011 Kia Sorento-R earned a Euro NCAP 5 star rating. The new R2.2lt engine is 16% more powerful than the old petrol 2.5lt it replaced. And it comes with a 7 year warranty.

There are two basic trims available for the 2011 lineup, the 2.0 CRDi 2WD with an OTR of £22,990.00, it is equipped with a 2.0lt V6 engine at 147hp/282lb-ft of torque, with a 6-speed manual transmission and gives you 35/52 mpg, the 2.2 CRDi at a starting OTR of £23,755.00 and depending on options selected it can run you up to £31,640.00, it comes with the 2.2lt V6 engine at 194hp/311lb-ft of torque and gives you 30/46 mpg. The 2.2 CRDi comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic is also available, as well as a 2WD and 4WD version.

Some of the options available for the 2011 Kia Sorrento are the Aux & iPod connectors, dual sunroof, cup holders, third bench seat for 7 passenger capacity, fold down rear seats to increase cargo space.
