UK Car Release Dates

The new 2011 Nissan Murano has received a facelift for this year and will be available for the first time with a diesel engine. Nissan’s 2.5 Lt four-cylinder diesel engine has been updated for improved performance and efficiency; it is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission that gives us a maximum output of 140kW and 450 Nm of torque. With an average of 210 g/km in CO2 emissions and fuel consumption at 28/42 mpg it makes the Diesel Murano classify as an Euro-V compliant SUV.

The Nissan Murano is available in two trims the Diesel at an OTR of £38,595 and the petrol version with an OTR of £38,595 as well. The petrol version has a 3.5 V6 engine with a 6-speed semi-automatic transmission with CO2 emissions at 261 g/km and fuel consumption at 19/33 mpg. With tons of standard equipment the Murano is a great deal for the price, standard All Mode 4x4, Bose audio system with 11 speakers, colour nearside kerb and rear-view camera that displays images to a 7” integrated colour screen, Satellite Navigation System, DVD playback (only when stationary) with an optional rear seat DVD entertainment system, rain sensing wipers. On the Exterior we have 20” alloy wheels, electric folding and heated mirrors

Nissan has released a teaser picture in the UK of the Murano Cross Cabriolet “the world’s first all-wheel-drive crossover convertible” as Nissan introduced it. What is so special about it? Well, its drop-top SUV, it is a different kind of 4x4, it has the reliability of a 4x4 and the carefree attitude of a drop-top vehicle. It is a 2-door SUV that seats four at this moment is only available in the US at a starting price of $46,390 about £28,435. Nissan has no immediate plans of releasing it in the UK or Europe just yet. 

Nissan Nissan Murano, 4X4

The Nissan Pathfinder has been redesigned for the 2011 model year with the most noticeable changes to the fascia with a completely redesigned grille, headlights and bumper. The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder remains a true SUV a reliable 4x4 off road vehicle as well as for city driving, with its 7-passenger seating capacity remains a rugged and versatile SUV. It has received a 4 star rating by the NCAP. Emissions range from CO2 224 to 238 g/km. 

The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder is available in two models the Acenta (only available with a 7-speed manual transmission), with a starting OTR of £29165.00 and the Tekna at £32,265.00 both models are available with a 2.5DCi I4 diesel engine which outputs 190hp/332lb-ft of torque paired with a 7-speed automatic or manual transmission, with a 3000kg towing capacity. All models are 4WD.

New additions to features available with the new 2011 Nissan Pathfinder include 17”alloy wheels, ESP stability control and side curtain airbags standard. The Tekna is available with electric sunroof, 18” alloy wheels;  you can order the Nissan Connect Premium HDD Navigation and Entertainment System with hi-resolution touch-screen, 40GB satnav offers 3D street level mapping, USB & iPod connectivity and rear parking camera. The 9GB music centre is capable of downloading and storing the equivalent of 250Cds, DVD playback possible only when vehicle is stationary. The steering wheel controls are now illuminated, new door storage bins have been added, new gauges

Nissan offers a 3-year or 60,000 miles drive train warranty with their new vehicles as well as a 3-year paint warranty and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty.

Nissan Nissan Pathfinder, 4x4

The Nissan SUV X-Trail has been redesigned for the 2011 model year with a series of updates, already one of the best-selling 4-wheel drive vehicles in Europe because of its comfort and durability, the most noticeable changes are to the fascia with a completely redesigned grille, bumper and darkened headlamps. New vertical rear lights to include LED technology. The 2011 Nissan X-Trail interior has been improved as well with a more detailed appearance by better colour coordination and higher quality materials, the leather stitching is more striking, more of  what we find in higher grade vehicles. 

The 2011 Nissan X-Trail is available in two models the Acenta, (only available with a 6-speed manual transmission), with a starting OTR of £24,575.00 and the Tekna, (available with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission), at £28,075.00 both models are available with a 2.0DCi I4 diesel engine at 36/51 mpg. Updates made to its Diesel engine have made this SUV Euro5 compliance with CO2 emissions at 168 g/km

Nissan Nissan X Trail, 4x4

The ever popular Nissan Qashqai crossover upgrade is upon us and it will receive a slight facelift for the 2011 season. One of the main improvements will be the addition of the new Euro 5 compliant engines. The new engines will only output just over 140g/km and will be able to travel an extra 3.8mpg compared to the 2010 engines.

The 1.6 liter petrol engine will have an increased power output of 117bhp and up to 158Nm of torque, it will also come equipped with a Stop/Start System, which basically stops the car and puts it in neutral when the car comes to a halt.

All of the 1.5dCi engines on the Qashqai will have the new diesel particulate filter (DPF) in place. The 1.5 dCi’s will also benefit from an additional power output from 106bhp on the old model to to 110bhp .

Other improvements include:

Nissan Nissan Qashqai, 4x4

The Nissan Navara has had a facelift for the 2011 model, it comes with 2 engine variants, a new 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine which outputs 230 HP and 550 NM of torque or a 2.5 DCi which has a four cylinder engine which outputs 190 HP and 450 NM of torque.

The 2011 Navara has a brand new bonnet, an altered grille and a slightly revised bumper assembly. The pickup will have a new set of 17" alloy wheels, some chrome highlights, a new headlight design and if you plump for a high end model it will come with an all new high res touch screen control system.
