2011 Toyota RAV4

7. February 2011

The Toyota RAV4 has been completely redesigned in and out for the 2011 year model. Quality of interior materials has improved significantly such as the Alcantara leather for the seats; the interior is more sophisticated, as well as the exterior with chrome accents to the new fascia and a wider stance. There are three engines to choose from; one petrol and two diesels; that provide a more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly machine, retaining its reliability and performance as previous model years. No wonder more than one million European customers have made this their compact SUV of choice since its introduction in 1994.

The 2011 RAV4 is available in three models the XT-R 2WD with a starting OTR of £22,995.00 comes with the 2.2D-4D CAT engine and a 6–speed automatic or manual transmission, the XT-R AWD with an OTR of £23,945.00 is available with either the 2.2D-4D 150 engine and 6-speed manual transmission or the 2.0ltr Valvematic petrol engine featuring the Multi-drive S transmission and the SR AWD at an OTR of £27,735.00 with the 2.2D-4D 150 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The 2.0ltr V-Matic engine has a combined fuel economy of 38mpg and a maximum output of 116kW/198Nm of torque and CO2 emissions at 177g/km. The 2.2D-4D engine (manual) has a combined fuel economy of 50mpg and a maximum output of 110kW/340Nm of torque and CO2 emissions at 150k/gm. And the 2.2D-4D CAT engine (automatic) has a combined fuel economy of 40mpg, same output as its manual counterpart with CO2 emissions of 186g/km.

Highlights on the RAV4 lineup include rain and dusk sensors, climate control air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, 6-CD stereo, sports leather steering, and 17” alloy wheels. Options available are leather seats, electric heated front seats and electric adjustment for the driver’s seat. With the SR AWD you can also get satellite navigation system with integrated reversing camera, 18” alloy wheels and many more Toyota RAV4 accessories to choose from.
