Jeep in the year 2002 after 20 years of production discontinued the Jeep Cherokee in the US and was replaced by the Jeep Liberty, with the new name tag, came a new look and updated features desperately needed as the Jeep Cherokee was outdated at the time.
The 2011 Jeep Liberty doesn’t come with many changes from the 2010 model year. It is available in four trims, the Sport at a MSRP of $23,250, Jet Sport at a MSRP of $24,745, Limited Edition at a MSRP of $26,650 and the Renegade at a MSRP of $27,250. The Liberty only comes with one engine the 3.7L V6 with 210hp/235lb-ft of torque an EPA of 15/21 mpg, with the standard 4-speed automatic transmission. All trims are available in standard 4x2 or optional 4x4 wheel drive.
The Liberty’s Independent front suspension provides a comfortable ride on all terrains, its towing capacity of 5,000 pounds is greater than other vehicles in its class and size. Its safety features incorporate the latest technology, such as Advanced Multistage front airbags, supplemental side curtain front and rear airbags, its steel alloy frame helps absorb impact to minimize damage and front seat head restraints.
The 2011 Jeep Liberty is not a luxury SUV, it is designed to be and off-road working vehicle that happens to be comfortable on-road, that doesn’t mean it still doesn’t offer additional comfort features as the Infinity 8 speaker and subwoofer sound system, SIRIUS satellite radio, 6-way power seats; available on the Limited Edition and Jet Limited trims only; or the Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System.
